Fall Getaway is when we take a weekend trip to Camp Lurecrest in Lake Lure, NC.

Here are just a few great things to do on Fall Getaway!

• Quality time with your brothers and sisters in Christ

This semester, the CRU Series is entitled,  ”Lyrics from Life.”

DudeStuff This year, CRU is adding an outreach designed to reach guys at USC. They’re also hosting a bunch of really awesome events (and girls are invited to some, too!), so check out their page here.

Weekly Meeting: Thursdays **There is NO CRU MEETING on Thursday, September 2, because of the Gamecocks Football Game! There is, however, a CRU Tailgate from 3:30 until gametime that night! Be sure to check the DudeStuff page for more info!

CRU Prayer Meetings This year, we’re trying to focus more on prayer together. Our hope is that these prayer meetings will become just as important to you as the weekly Thursday night CRU meetings. We’ll be meeting in the Russell House room 315 (third floor). We hope you can come! Please check back soon for the date of our next meeting!

Manday Nights: Mondays Manday Nights are for Upperclassmen Guys to hang out with each other, play basketball, and dive into the Word together. Meetings are every Monday night at 7pm at Southside Baptist Church in Columbia (702 Whaley Street).

Shag Night with First Baptist: Sept. 8 Do you know the official dance of South Carolina? Join us as we enjoy the night with First Baptist at 701 Whaley Street!

Girls Night Out Ladies enjoy our annual girls night out with Marian Jordan. More details coming soon.

USC/Columbia College Fall Break: Oct. 14-17 No classes equals no CRU! Enjoy the freedom from homework!

Praise on the Green: Oct. 20 Each fall, CRU takes a trip over to Columbia College for some wonderful outreach time! We have worship on the Green and testimonies from the girls at CC, and we’d love for you to join us! More info to come later. This past Spring Break, we went to Miami! Our trip included some community service and outreach at Florida International University. We also had tons of free time to lounge at the beach, go sightseeing, do some shopping, go to a Miami Heat game, visit South Beach, and more!
